POST SURF STRETCHES


Stretching out after surfing is really important, especially if you don't get as much water time as you'd like. Your poor body goes from not surfing much, to paddling like mad, catching loads of waves and if you don't stretch out after this you'll end up suffering in the long run.
We are all guilty of not warming up properly,  I am usually so excited about getting in the surf it's the last thing I think of, so making sure I stretch out post surf is key to keeping my joints and muscles happy. I am not a personal trainer but I surf all the time and these simply the stretches that what work for me.




Upward Dog Pose

 Triangle Pose

 Backbend

 Downward Dog

 Single Leg Deep Lung - repeat on other side



Single leg hamstring stretch - repeat on other side
