Living in Cornwall is pretty special, not only do we have the beaches and a quaint seaside towns but there are now so many amazing places to eat and drink in Cornwall cropping up everywhere. With eating being my second favourite thing to do (after surfing) I thought I would start sharing some of the places I love to dine on my blog.

For me there is no better way to spend a Sunday then with loved ones, enjoying good food and a little bit of wine. The British tradition of a Sunday roast is a favourite of mine. So after a brisk windy and rain soaked walk along the rugged Newquay coastline Ben and I dipped into the No.5 Brewhouse to escape the cold and indulge in my favourite Sunday tradition.

With the surf looking pretty rubbish what else is there to do on a Sunday afternoon. We both opted for the roast beef and a large glass of red wine to wash it down. This plate of scumminess didn't disappoint and I am now writing this post from the comfort of my sofa experiencing a food coma.

This roast dinner felt just like grandma had made it and left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. As you can see the portions are HUGE! The roast had a great balance of flavours with so many tasty components, I loved the broccoli and cauliflower cheese which had a slight hint of blue cheese!

If you love a Sunday Roast and haven't been to No.5 Brewhouse in Newquay yet then you really need to head down there next weekend. Your stomach will thank you.

Thanks again to No.5 Brewhouse for looking after us, we will be back soon I am sure!
