FEDE SURFBAGS REVIEW

I'd been following Fede Surfbags for a while now and on my last couple surf trips to Portugal and Fuerteventura, I got to test out two Fede's products, a Sling Bag and a Short Boardbag.

When they arrived I was so excited to see how Fede had put them together. I love anything that's been handmade, especially a surf related product. The designs are simple, fuss-free but with excellent attention to detail. The board bag had a cute little button pocket, perfect for anyone like me who loses their surf wax all the time. The detailing doesn't stop there, the fabric is hand painted, meaning each bag has its own unique story, like your very own piece of artwork. The fabrics are soft to touch, they feel hard wearing and high quality, not like the usual mass produced board bags, these bags have character.

I had never used a Sling Bag before and in all honesty, I wasn't sure how I would like it at first but after using it on a number of occasions with my shorter boards and longer boards I can say that I think I am a Sling Bag convert! For anyone who struggles to carry their surfboard to the beach, you NEED to get yourself a Sling Bag. They are a complete game changer! Not only can they make carrying your surfboard easier but there is also room to strap your wetsuit or towel or sarong, whatever you want to take to the beach.

All in all, I loved the bags and think the brand has a great concept, we should all try and buy from more independent retailers and especially those who make wonderful handmade items.
